Costs & estimates
We have no ambition to drive a Lexus, or own a summer home in Paris. Our goal is simply to provide for our families. We work hard for our money just like you, and therefore try to provide high quality services at an affordable rate. It’s a partnership…. We’ll do our best to take good care of you, and hopefully you’ll return the favor and tell your friends to give us a try!
Design work, networking solutions, programming, and hardware upgrades all start with us taking some time to fully understand your needs and expectations, and try to guage what the final outcome of the project will be. We then mentally “reverse engineer” the process that it will take to get us there and base our estimates accordingly.
No Surprises
Once we understand the scope of a project we will then issue an estimate range for the total cost of the project, based on how many hours it will likely take us to complete the work. The total estimate is based on our standard hourly rate of $26.
The low end of the estimate range is the minimum cost of the job; we won’t do it for less.
The high end of the estimate range is your maximum out of pocket cost for the job; regardless of the time it takes us to complete it.
In other words your final cost will fall somewhere within this range, period. We aim for the middle of that range and adjust the final cost up or down according to the time we put in on the project. We track our hours on each project and will happily get this to you if you request it.
Any work or consultations outside of the scope of a specific project estimate or standard service will be charged at our hourly rate in 15 minute increments as the minimum, rounded up to the next quarter hour.

There are many things that go into the design and development of a quality website.
- The initial research: to learn about the client and the competition
- The pre-production: to lay out the information structure and explore “look and feel” options
- The initial mock up: to draft out and revise a concept so it’s ready to produce
- The production: to make the site actually work; writing code, designing graphics, writing content, and testing
- The other design expenses: The purchase of pictures and form engines
We estimate your cost for your overall site, not on a page basis, but a project basis. Many design shops will charge “per page”, which means more information gets crammed on a page than it should, users get frustrated, and the whole point of hyper-linked pages on the web becomes pointless! Save yourself some money at that point and hand out a brochure.
The main factors that determine the cost / size are:
- The amount of content
- The complexity of graphics, forms, and design elements
- The amount of drafts and revisions before starting production
A small site will run about $1500-$2500, a mid-range site about $3500-$4500 and a large site about $5500- $6500. Extra large sites can be upwards of $10,000 - $15,000.

Site maintenance
We have several maintenance plans to suit you. What you choose may depend on several factors such as:
- How often you anticipate updating the content
- The overall complexity of the site
- Your budget
All maintenance plans require a 1 year contract and are billed quarterly. Consultation time can be via e-mail, phone, or in-person and clocked in 5 minute minimum increments. These typically involve troubleshooting questions regarding forms, e-mail accounts, concerns, future design concepts, glitches etc. Content updates are clocked in 15 minute minimum increments are communicated preferably via e-mail.
The plans:
Small: The bare minimum required to keep your site functioning
- Consultation (up to 30 minutes per quarter)
- Content updates (up to 30 minutes per quarter)
- Quarterly tune-up
- NO FORMS
- $7.50 per month
Medium: A monthly check-up
- Consultation (up to 30 minutes per month)
- Content updates (up to 30 minutes per month)
- Forms included
- Monthly site performance analysis
- Monthly site tune-up
- Monthly optimization for search engines
- $25 per month
Large: Weekly updates and consultations
- Consultation (up to 60 minutes per month)
- Content updates (up to 30 minutes per week)
- Forms included
- Monthly site performance analysis
- Monthly site tune-up
- Monthly optimization for search engines
- Priority updates
- $80 per month
X-Large: Unlimited updates and consultations
- Consultations (As needed)
- Content updates (As needed)
- Forms included
- Monthly site performance analysis
- Monthly optimization for search engines
- Monthly site tune-up
- Highest priority updates
- $125 per month

Site hosting / domain registration
We can register your domain for you for $25; renewed annually.
Hosting plans require a 1 year contract and are billed annually. One of the best plans in the industry for $10 per month! ($120 annually) Upgrades are availalbe for Web based e-mail and shopping carts.

Print design
Print work is estimated according to the scope of the project. Once we understand the purpose and preferences for the piece, we will create three options to choose from and make adjustments as needed. We will create a design that works for you!
We will give you an estimate range for the design work and can either provide you with final JPEGS of the pieces, or order them direct for you. We use Hot Cards Columbus as our printer, and can get an estimate directly from them depending on piece size and quanity.
