Service is the act of providing something. Therefore our service philosophy guides us in how to act! More importantly how to interact with you, the person.

Here at Clueless Designs we think the following things are an important part of doing business:

Kindness

You’re busy, we’re busy, and life is stressful. However we think that’s no excuse not to treat each other kindly! It’s the value of being kind to a fellow human being regardless of your or their state of mind, which made living in the small towns of yesteryear so enjoyable. We may not always agree with you, but we will always express kindness when we talk.

We will:

Be friendly
Respond quickly and thoughtfully
Be attentive to your needs
Not allow frustration or stress to override the act of being kind

Knowledge

There are design shops out there or simply “snap” your content into a template without any real knowledge of what’s happening behind the scenes. Few designers really want to spend the time up front learning about your business. We rely on our knowledge, our learning, and your learning to create a great site for you!

We need to know our stuff

(in order to create great websites, brochures, and networking solutions)

We know how to build great websites and we know why we build them that way. We know how to manipulate text and photos to create stunning brochures. We know how to solve your computer problems. You’re considering us because you’re looking for an expert to help you navigate your important project aren’t you? Well then let us do just that! If for some reason we don’t know the answer….. we’ll find it!

We don’t rest there, at Clueless Designs we are constantly improving. We strive to learn better methods, better approaches to problems, and better ways to provide you with what you need. We will:

We need to know your stuff

(in order to create unique pieces that show your style and do what you need them to do)

We need to get to know you the person before we can design just the right web site. What is your business really about? What are your values? Are you more whimsical or professional? Who is your primary audience? What is your unique style? There are many questions to answer before we even get started with the actual designing!

We can design a website from hundreds of miles away without ever meeting you in person…. And it will be great! However, when at all possible we prefer to meet in person, spend some time face to face. It helps to develop that kindness we mentioned before, but is also helps us on a visceral level as we actually begin to design the specifics of your project. We will:

Learn as much about what you do as we can before we start designing
Ask lots of questions and make you think about what you do in different ways
Treat you differently than everyone else, and customize just for you

We do all this as the expert, preparing ourselves to create a great site for you! We expect you to give us guidance in what you’re looking for from a site. However if you have an exact concept in your head already and are looking for someone to simply do what you tell them to…. We may not be right design shop for you.

We want you to know what you’re getting into

Which is why you’ll find virtually all your questions answered on this website! We want to arm you with enough knowledge to understand the basics of what’s going on. We’ll take care of the details. We will:

Provide you with a basic understanding of what’s going on with your project
Provide a written contract detailing the “whats, whens & how muchs” of your project
Allow you to ask any questions without making you feel silly

Similar to that small town feel of neighbors helping each other out, that’s how we view this partnership. We don’t charge much compared to other shops offering less, but still we simply can’t continue to do business if we never charge anything! So if you have a quick question, please let us know…. We’ll answer it for you! If you find yourself needing more than the occasional quick question please consider upgrading you maintenance plan to cover the extra assistance.
